Rogers prepares Brum exit

Birmingham City Council leader John Clancy had a ‘gun to his head’ before deciding to oust chief executive Mark Rogers, a source has claimed.

The Birmingham Independent Improvement Panel (BIIP) is believed to have offered Cllr Clancy the choice of getting rid of Mr Rogers or the council being put in full government intervention.
