Rogers to retire next year

The Liverpool-born chief executive of the region’s combined authority has announced he plans to retire next September.

Frank Rogers, who was the first chief executive of the Liverpool city region combined authority, said agreeing a timetable for his retirement meant a ‘smooth transition’ could be put in place for appointing a successor.
