Scots warned over health and social care strategy

Scottish councils do not have the funding needed for health and social care integration, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) has warned.

The organisation’s head of Scotland, Don Peebles, said the absence of a medium to long-term financial strategy for the integration of services was ‘illogical’ given that so many councils are already under financial strain.
