Scottish strikes loom as councils prepare improved offer

Local government strikes loom in Scotland as councils attempt to put together an improved pay offer.

Waste workers in 15 councils across Scotland have threatened to walk out from 24 August until 31 August in protest over the ‘pitiful’ 2% pay offer from the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA).
