Sector ‘confident’ FCA will heed warnings on pension reforms

Local government insiders are quietly confident the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will listen to their warnings about the proposed reclassification of council pension funds.

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association has warned that reclassifying local authority pension funds as retail investors will prevent them from investing in certain asset classes such as infrastructure.
