Senior government officials will be hauled in front of MPs next week after a rare move from the Public Accounts Committee.
The committee said it wanted to recall senior civil servants from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) for questioning on a ‘range of current issues in the department’s remit’.
