Services for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at Slough Council have been under-resourced for 18 months, councillors have heard.
Officers told councillors at an extraordinary meeting of the audit and corporate governance committee there had been an ‘awareness’ of the need for more resources for 18 months.
