Slough Council is to restructure its finance department in a bid to turn around its fortunes.
The move follows criticism of the department from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy in a review, which found a need to ‘significantly strengthen the finance and commercial services function, and develop a structure that is sustainable’.
