Strike threat lifted after COSLA agrees to raise teachers' pay

The possibility of strike action by teachers has been averted after Scotland’s council leaders backed a pay deal.

Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) voted today in favour of the revised offer to the teaching workforce at a meeting in East Lothian.
