Local government minister Rishi Sunak has said he is determined to ensure the pooling of council pension schemes reaches its ‘full potential’.
Speaking at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association’s local authority conference, Mr Sunak said he wanted pooling to deliver ‘much wider’ benefits than simply improved net returns.
