Suspended sentences for Sheffield tree protesters

Suspended prison sentences have been handed to two protesters opposed to tree felling in Sheffield.

Simon Crump and Benoit Benz Compin were sentenced to two months suspended for a year after being found guilty of breaching an injunction.

No further action was taken against Fran Grace and judgement on a fourth defendant, Paul Brooke, was reserved.
