Tenants urge council to ditch partnership plan

Haringey LBC tenants have urged the authority to ditch its planned ‘hand over’ of £2bn in assets to a public-private partnership.

In a letter to a national newspaper today, the Haringey Federation of Residents’ Associations and other signatories urged the north London borough to drop what they regard as the ‘monstrous’ Haringey Development Vehicle (HDV) because they claim it could remove affordable housing from the borough.
