As council leaders prepare to make some tough choices regarding next year’s budget, Eastbourne BC is boldly going where Boaty McBoatface went before.

For residents are being asked in a public poll whether the council should sell four farm freeholds, which the local authority owns on the South Downs, or whether they want less permanent plants and grass cutting.
