The stage is set for districts to demonstrate their key role

In the next few weeks, the first major local government fixture of the new decade takes place in Warwick for the District Councils’ Network (DCN) annual conference.

On 6 and 7 February, it will be the first opportunity for new ministers to directly address district council leaders since the General Election – just days after Brexit.
