There were red faces in the blue corner for Wiltshire Conservatives after revelations about their candidate to be the next police and crime commissioner (PCC).

Jonathan Seed, a member of Wiltshire Council, was initially advised that a 30-year-old drink-driving offence would not be an obstacle to his standing as commissioner.
