Tower Hamlets Council has appointed James Thomas as its new corporate director for children and culture.
Currently interim chief executive of children at First Northamptonshire, he has previously served as interim director of children’s services at Richmond LBC and Tameside Council, director fi children’s services at Newham LBC and director of family services at Westminster City Council and the tri-borough partnership.
