Treasurers call for SEND funding injection ahead of next week's spending round

Three treasurers’ societies have urged the Department for Education (DfE) to make high needs funding its ‘number one priority’ in its talks with the Treasury ahead of next week's spending round.

Writing ahead of the one-year spending round, the letter to new education secretary Gavin Williamson from the societies representing London, county and municipal treasurers called for the DfE to ‘quickly inject’ more funding into the system.
