United in the social care challenge

Hertfordshire CC faces the same problems as other local authorities across the country: how do we maintain high quality services in the face of budget cuts, a growing and ageing population and inflation?

Inevitably, the area which feels the pinch most is social care. So how are we able to look to the future with an optimistic eye about the challenges ahead? The answer is working more closely with the voluntary and community sector.
