Watchdog calls for 'transformational changes'

‘More fundamental, transformational changes are needed in service provision’ by Scottish councils, the chair of the Accounts Commission watchdog has said.

Graham Sharp said the pace of change needed to improve in some councils to address the ‘growing gap’ between demand and resources.
