We want to make council procurement faster, fairer and more efficient

The Government’s Green Paper Transforming Public Procurement closes to consultation today (10 March).

The Local Government Association (LGA) has privately warned that new procurement rules could create extra burdens for councils, according to an article in The MJ. Over the course of the last two years, working with the LGA and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in their role as convenor and advocate for local government, my team has engaged widely and openly in our policy development.
