Welsh may escape exit pay cap

Welsh workers could be spared from the Government’s strict public sector exit pay cap.

The devolved administration in Wales has announced it will not include pension strain in the £95,000 cap on exit payments ‘where possible’ and ‘subject to legal advice and further consideration of evidence’ after concerns about the impact on those on ‘relatively low pay’.
