White van man on... highways

This café society is all very well but you try and drive a Bedford van down a side street, half of which has been handed over by the council to the local cafés for their punters.

It’s very nice for them to sip their lattes, or whatever, under awnings while the rest of us are trying to earn a living no thanks to the council. And I might remind the suits at the town hall that it’s my taxes what pay for – roads or what’s left of ’em.
