England’s chief medical officer Chris Whitty has voiced concerns the public may not comply with future COVID-19 restrictions if they become necessary.
Speaking at the national children and adult services conference, Prof Whitty said: ‘The great majority of people really take this very seriously and do want to have protections put in place, which may be inconveniencing to them, but will protect other people and their families.’
