Worcestershire hires interim to replace Marchant

An ‘experienced local government chief executive’ has been hired to the top role at Worcestershire CC for up to nine months.

Steve Stewart, who was formerly chief executive of York City Council and Northumberland Council, will replace Clare Marchant when she leaves at the end of June after seven years.
