A skills plan for Surrey

‘Growing a sustainable economy, from which everyone can benefit’ is one of the four inter-related key strategic priorities for Surrey CC.

The two parts of the statement are quite deliberate. They focus on the needs of businesses that will grow our economy, as well as inclusion, ensuring our underlying principle of ‘no-one left behind’ is reflected in the work it drives. It also sits alongside our other key priorities of ‘tackling health inequality’, ‘a greener future’ and ‘thriving and empowered communities’.
