Authority forced to reveal £500m contract details

Gloucestershire CC has been forced by a government tribunal to publish full details of its largest ever contract.

The Government’s information tribunal said that some details of the £500m energy-from-waste (EfW) deal with Urbaser Balfour Beatty must be published – including costings and termination of contract issues – but sensitive technical information should be kept private.
