Management services will be among the biggest casualties of commissioner-led Birmingham City Council’s £150m cuts programme outlined this week.
The huge savings drive has been earmarked for 2024-25 and includes plans to slash £15.6m from council management services – half of the directorates’ current budget - raising the prospect of job cuts.
