Care homes in Scotland have warned they are at risk of closure as they rejected a 6% fee increase from councils.
Scottish Care has refused to sign the national care home contract with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) – an agreement determining weekly fees - after talks on the grounds it was no longer sufficient due to rising costs.
