The number of changes in directors of children’s services (DCS) postholders has reached near record levels, it has been revealed.
Research by the Association of Directors of Children’s Services (ADCS) found that during 2023-24 there were 62 changes in DCS postholders across 49 councils – among the highest levels since the role was established.
