Directors' warning over delayed DoLS reforms

Care directors have warned that delayed reforms mean some hospital patients will continue to be rushed off wards into care homes they may not need.

The Association of Directors of Social Services (ADASS) has joined the chorus of disapproval over ministers’ decision to delay replacing the bureaucratic Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards’ (DoLS) with the Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS) regime.
