LGA looks to do more to help officers

The Local Government Association (LGA) is looking to do more to help officers fulfil their roles as part of a policy shift for the politically-led organisation.

Abi Brown, a deputy chairman of the LGA, said she wanted the organisation to do more for officers as well as councillors ‘without stepping on the toes’ of senior officers group Solace and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
