MP predicts reorganisation revamp

A backbench Tory MP who is leading the campaign against local government reorganisation in Dorset believes the Government’s approach will change after the General Election.

Christchurch MP Christopher Chope, who is a member of the Communities and Local Government Committee, suggested an already-delayed Whitehall response to plans to create two new unitary authorities in Dorset would likely be held up further.
