New PM must turn levelling up commitments into action

As Conservative Party members make their decision on who should be their next leader, we’re getting very close to finding out who will be the country’s next Prime Minister, what their premiership will mean for the future of the UK, and indeed what it will mean for the policies of Boris Johnson’s Government.

A new leader is always keen to make their mark and cement their legacy with a flurry of new policies – and the dismantling of some existing ones. So, it has been very good to hear that both Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss have committed to pushing on with the levelling up agenda if elected.
