The collaborative nature of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) means that those who work in it are always keen to exchange ideas and discuss current issues. One topic that has become a frequent part of conversations is the difficulty in recruiting and retaining the right staff.

In recent years the demands on those delivering the LGPS have increased hugely.
