Fresh concerns have been raised about the Prevent programme amid rising tensions over the conflict in Gaza.
The Government has viewed the programme as a key tool in preventing terrorists from exploiting the crisis, with education secretary Gillian Keegan urging schools to make referrals to the programme where ‘events in the Middle East are used as an excuse to stir up hatred against communities’.
