Red flags come out for housing

The huge outcry in response to the ITV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office highlighted the latest in a series of national stories where those closest to a situation or most affected have been at best ignored by those responsible and at worst blamed for the situation themselves.

The Infected Blood scandal, Grenfell, Windrush, WASPI and Hillsborough have all seen years of delay in action being taken while the people affected bore both the outcomes of failure and the burden of challenging those responsible.
