Unison members in Scotland today rejected local government employers’ latest pay deal, which would have seen the lowest-paid staff receive a 10% wage boost.
The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) described Unison’s decision as ‘very disappointing given the strength of the offer on the table’ and claimed the offer was ‘as far as local government can go without impacting service and jobs’.
