Hounslow LBC has a proven record of securing and delivering affordable housing for its residents. In 2014, we pledged to secure 3,000 affordable homes over the period of four years, and by March last year we had delivered over 3,250 homes for social and affordable rent as well as shared ownership.

While we are proud of this achievement, the national housing crisis has worsened during this period, with an analysis by Shelter in November 2018 revealing that there are now over 320,000 homeless people across the UK and 170,000 in London alone.
