Our vast waste and recycling centre is the heart of waste and recycling in our borough.  Until recently it was also heavily reliant on gas – now switched to electricity.

It was a moment of immense pride for colleagues across the council who are working tirelessly towards making our vision of creating a net zero borough a reality.
