Adding an online sales tax to a broken business rates system will only make matters worse, a Conservative MP who is pushing to scrap business rates has said.
Backbench MP Kevin Hollinrake told The MJ: ‘I think the online sales tax solution that the treasury is proposing will make things worse. It will further complicate an already complex system.’
