As we all try to adapt our day-to-day lives to the realities of social distancing, spare a thought for the poor folks in the tourism industry.

Coronavirus has turned the rules of marketing on their head, with Sefton MBC coming up with postcards emblazoned with ‘wish you weren’t here’ in a bid to deter crowds from gathering at beaches last weekend.
