Birmingham follows through on injunction threat

Birmingham City Council has insisted it had ‘no option’ but to follow through its threat of an injunction as industrial action by refuse workers continues.

A council spokesman said the authority had made an offer to trade union Unite after talks at the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service and that it remained on the table despite talks stalling.
