Economists who are both pro and anti-Brexit agree the referendum vote has caused a slowdown in the economy, the Institute for Government’s Gemma Tetlow has said.
According to figures from the Office for Budget Responsibility, the economy was expected to grow by 2.1% this year, but now in 2018/19 it is expected to grow by 1.5%.
