The government needs to put more effort into agreeing local industrial strategies across the country, the latest report from think tank Localis has claimed.
Currently, the government is focussed on agreeing a local strategy for Greater Manchester, the West Midlands and the Oxford/Cambridge Corridor. But in its latest report, Localis claims this should be broadened to weaker economic areas too.
