CBI backs 'turbo charged' devolution

The business community will now back ‘turbo charged’ devolution, the director general of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) told a Core Cities seminar last week.  

Since the response to COVID-19, Dame Carolyn Fairburn said businesses have ‘hugely valued the power of local government’.
