Capturing the Beveridge spirit

Local authorities deserve huge credit for their role in identifying and supporting vulnerable children while continuing to maintain services throughout the pandemic.

The last 18 months have revealed many generational problems facing vulnerable children. None of these problems are new, but tackling them will require new ideas and big ambitions.
