Concern grows as carers face drastic PPE shortage

Carers on the hidden frontline are continuing to work without a guaranteed future supply of adequate personal protective equipment (PPE), putting them at risk of dying.

English social care providers have received an emergency drop of seven million PPE items amid the coronavirus pandemic.
