Councils warned to expect climate protests

Councils have been warned new climate activist group Insulate Britain intends to target other regions in the coming weeks after protests targetted the south-east, The MJ understands.

More than 300 arrests have been made so far after demonstrations took place in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hertfordshire and Essex, with the M25 blocked twice in three days, causing huge queues of traffic.
