Crisis-hit Croydon approves action plan

Croydon LBC has approved an action plan to put ‘strong financial management and governance right at the heart of the organisation’.

The plan, which was approved at an extraordinary council meeting last night, details how Croydon will address the concerns raised in a recent external audit report in the public interest, which came more than two years after Grant Thornton first raised concerns.
