Cut for IDeA's sector-led improvement grant

The Government has again chipped away at the grant for sector-led improvement and moved to expand the organisations that can spend the cash.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) struck between the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) confirmed the grant for 2019/20 would be £19.2m – down from £20m in 2018/19.
